I had the wonderful opportunity of documenting little Dixon’s 6-month milestone in Kill Devil Hills, NC this week. The Martins are from Lancaster, PA and were vacationing at the Outer Banks. What better way to celebrate turning 6 months old than at the beach? Oh, and I’m a sucker for beach sessions! I have to say that this was seriously the most perfect session ever. The weather was amazing…warm and not too windy. And, if you’ve ever tried to take a picture of a 6-month old, you’ll understand why Dixon was the perfect baby. He was sitting all on his own and smiling like crazy! He absolutely loved the beach and did the best job ever! This entire family was amazing to work with…and so photogenic. I was so happy that Dixon’s grandparents were there too. They didn’t plan on getting any pictures taken, but grandparents are so precious that we had to throw them in for just a few. Oh, and I should mention how kind they were. I’m wishing Dixon a happy ½ birthday and a fantastic vacation to the entire family. I hope I run into these guys again sometime…they just seem like so much fun! Enjoy!
