I’m so excited for Katelyn and Joe! They are engaged! Yay! I took photos of them last summer…just because. And, I guess it was practice for their gorgeous engagement session this summer. Who knew? I kind of lucked out though because they are beautiful both inside and out…and Katelyn’s parents have the most breathtaking view from their home. I knew this because her entire family are close friends with my entire family. I love that I was able to capture these sweet moments for a couple who I adore and know will cherish them forever. So…we had to get some photos in camo (it is West Virginia), and we had to get some with their fur baby, Wilson! He’s adorable…and pretty good at sitting for photos! Also, Katelyn is from West Virginia while Joe is from Ohio. I’m guessing this makes for some pretty heated games when WVU and Ohio State are playing each other…notice their shirts. After our McAdoo Ridge Road session, we headed to a local park, Brooke Hills Park. It’s really pretty and has so much to offer as far as natural beauty. We again lucked out and had the most gorgeous sunset with a pink sky! Those are probably my favorites…they both looked stunning in the golden light. Lastly, we walked down to the pond that has a really fun fountain. Joe reenacted his proposal…so sweet! I cannot wait for their wedding next summer because I know it will be amazing! Congrats, Katelyn and Joe!
