So, I had the amazing opportunity to attend the Make it Click: Shootout and Workshop in Nags Head, NC a few weeks ago. Both Katie White Myrick of Katie Myrick Photography and Kelly Parnell of Photos by Kelly did an awesome job hosting and styling this event…and not for the first time. I was absolutely giddy with excitement to work with both of these talented ladies, and to shoot so many gorgeous models! I have so, so many photos; it’s hard to choose my favorites. I’ve tried to pick a few from each of the four sessions we photographed.
First, we went onto the beach. Deanna, was the perfect beach beauty; she couldn’t take a bad picture if she tried. She absolutely rocked her high-waisted bikini and big, white sunglasses. It totally helped that she’s naturally gorgeous…and so sweet! And, Kennedy and Garrett…such a cute couple! They were our surfer models; we had a lot of fun telling their story with such a cool jeep, a surfboard, a skateboard, some water play…and of course kisses and snuggles! After we worked on the beach, we went across the way to Jockey’s Ridge for two more sessions. It’s so pretty there, and it was perfect for our beautiful family, Sean Kathryn, Jon, and little Peyton…who is an absolute doll! They were all styled so beautifully and cohesively…and there was the most perfect golden light. Ahhh…last, but certainly not least I got to work with the stunning, Hannah! Wow! Hannah is a natural and completely rocked her vibrant, purple parachute skirt. This girl has a future career in modeling for sure. And, did I mention how fun Hannah is? I could totally be her friend!
All in all, it was a fantastic day. I had so much fun meeting so many new and talented people (who turned out to be some really great friends), and I learned so much. Oh…and Katie and Kelly are the absolute best! I’m serious…you cannot help but love these sweet gals! So, I hope you enjoy these as much as I do! I just cannot get over these images!
